This week’s “E is For…” prompt in our Create-Everyday Design Discovery threw us a bit of a curveball with the initial Google results: Elephant, Egg, Extinction, and Easter. With Easter already behind us, and 'egg' likely overlapping some Easter themes, I decided to shake things up by replacing Easter with the next few results: Eternity, Evidence, and Extraordinary. Why settle for one when we can explore all three, right?
Let’s break it down:
- Elephant designs are always a hit, and this time was no exception with over 10,000 results popping up on Spoonflower.
- Egg also cracked open a massive 10,000+ results, proving that this simple theme can stir up plenty of creativity.
- Extinction was a bit more niche with only 93 results, giving it a unique spot in our search.
- And the trio of Eternity, Evidence, and Extraordinary? They brought in a surprising total of 294 designs.
After diving into the first 10 pages of the most relevant designs for each keyword, I found my favorite of the bunch: “Stacked Elephants” by zoe_ingram. The elephants aren’t just colorful; their arrangement offers an eye-catching repeat that really stands out from the crowd.
This week's design challenge was a fascinating mix of the usual and the unexpected, proving once again that creativity knows no bounds. Next week is the Cottagecore Halloween design challenge at Spoonflower, I'm soooo looking forward to this one! Keep those creative juices flowing!
