This week, Spoonflower's design challenge was delightfully open-ended: Choose a hue and craft a monochromatic masterpiece to be showcased on a duvet. I'm always thrilled when designers have the freedom to let their creativity run wild.

For me, the fun was in ensuring a medley of shades were represented in my top picks, although I must admit, I was tempted to favor blues all the way!

The design that truly captivated me was "MonochromeGirl" by gaiamarfurt. Presented in varying shades of a steely blue, this design's chic girl motif is calling out to be transformed into a dress. I'm eager to work with it!
