This week's creative challenge was all about exploring the world of Doodle Bugs. I was more drawn to designs that captured the whimsical essence of these creatures, rather than being overly anatomically correct. Think Jiminy Cricket meets the world of entomology!

Out of all the stunning submissions, the design that truly buzzed its way into my heart was "Bees Near the Hive" by annhirnapatterns. The limited color palette worked wonders in making the patterns pop, while the overall repeat pattern made me want to make a dress or skirt out of it right away.

And that's not all! This week also marked the launch of a new and improved voting experience. The paged view of the designs was a treat for the eyes, although I did encounter a minor glitch once that required me to start over. Designs were definitely appearing multiple times on different pages. However, designs that I had previously voted for appeared as selected/voted when they reappeared on new pages.
