Following a brief hiatus due to a US holiday, the Spoonflower Design Challenge has returned, this time focusing on the theme of Serene Wallscapes, particularly in the context of wallpaper designs. It's fascinating to observe how serenity, a deeply personal and subjective feeling, can vary significantly from one individual to another.

Among the myriad of entries this week, "Koi Fish"by de-si-gn stood out to me. While the imagery of concentric rings rippling across a koi pond might be considered somewhat clichéd, the execution in this design is anything but ordinary. The scale, the choice of colors, and the transparency of the fish collectively create a harmonious visual.
