This week’s 2025 Tea Towel Calendars design challenge has me thinking beyond the kitchen! Whenever these tea towel calendar challenges pop up, I always see them as potential panels for garments. The calendar itself is secondary—it’s all about the design for me.
My favorite this week? It has to be “Blue Heron 2025 Calendar” by studioxtine. The bold graphics and the soft grey-blue color immediately caught my eye, and I can totally envision this as a stunning panel in the (new-ish) Essex Linen, which is quickly becoming a go-to fabric for me. It’s got that perfect blend of texture and versatility.
